ocean | 43 FRP laminate hand-laid balsa-cored hull uses the Speiss Hecker paint system, and a combination of Dupont and Awlgrip, in light silver above the waterline, to a stunning high luster effect and reputedly more durable finish. The hydraulically-opening and spacious, well-ventilated garage here is suitable for say a Zodiac Pro-Jet 305, and a Besenzoni davit and boarding passarelle are provided. Crew quarters for 3- 4, in both the three and four stateroom plans, are also accessed from aft. Ascending teak steps to the teak aft cockpit, the layout basically features a very large sunbed that converts into an al fresco dining table for up to ten people. A quickly unfurled sail shades this area if needed. In-ceiling speakers relay the music, and a built-in cooler -- one of an extraordinary eight fridges, freezer and iceboxes throughout the vessel -- takes care of the drinks. Earlier Warren owners will immediately notice that the teak extends around deck sidewalks, which didn't happen before -- beam is 6 m -- and on the foredeck are sun cushions in non- absorbent foam, as well as a Bruce anchor and usual windlass and warp hardware fore and aft. The principal deck continues from the cockpit at the same level, via curved glass and stainless steel doors, into the salon and dining areas, with the helm station forward. The salon has port and starboard leather sofas, and custom coffee tables finished in Madrona burl inlay with stainless steel trim and gloss finish. The entertainment system includes a 42" or more than 1 m plasma TV screen, installed with a lift, and there is also a 5-disc CD-DVD player, VCR, home theatre receiver, in- ceiling speakers and a multi room amplifier. The bar area has Liebherr under-bench refrigeration and a Rinnai ice-maker. A round dining table, again with Madrona burl inlay and stainless steel finish, provides seating for eight guests, and there are port and starboard cabinets painted in Glasurit silver. Flooring is granite. A feature here is that, at the touch of a switch, a roof panel glides silently open, enabling the party to literally dine under the stars. Standard accoutrements include fine bone china, silver-plated cutlery, and red, white and champagne glasses, all for 12 people.
